Management

Mike works at his parents' motel in Kingman, population 27,000, on old Route 66. Sue sells art for a Baltimore firm to corporations for office walls. He takes one look at her from behind as she registers at the motel and determines to connect. He's sweet, but hapless, with no ambition other than spending time with her. She's enigmatic - rarely smiling, occasionally impulsive, committed to helping homeless people, feeling the clock tick after a breakup with a boyfriend who could have provided security. Is there any way he stands a chance with her? What can he offer?

By the way, I copied this info from IMDB, that movie is ok but not great, it felt like a TV movie, except it has nothing to offer, and I could not wait for it to be over.

Don’t bother and see it, or if you have nothing in the weekend just see it on TV

Ciao

Surrogates

In the near future, humans live in isolation and only interact through robotic bodies that serve as surrogates. When several humans are murdered when their surrogates are destroyed, a cop (Bruce Willis) investigates the crimes through his own surrogate. After a near fatal encounter, the cop's surrogate is destroyed and forces him to bring his human form out of isolation and unravel a conspiracy behind the crimes.

I love sci-fi and, I also love Bruce Willis, his always a hit with me, and this movie is no exception, it got thrill, car chase, romance, everything you hope for in a movie about robots. And it made me think of the possibility that I have a surrogate.

I like it, so go see it

Twilight

Aaah, it is nice to be young and in love, especially if the man in question is a 109 years old Vampire.

I must say I enjoyed it a lot, sometime i laugh at how predictable the lines and the scenes are.

I must confess, i did not like knowing the ending & dialogue before I even saw the movie. But that what happens when you watch romantic movies, there are no surprises.

It wasn’t a total waste of time, but it can be a drag, If you like romantic predictability, go see it.

Oh, don’t forget the sequel is out and I have seen it few day ago, I will report on it soon

Year one

This is so funny, I love it so much I find myself laughing about some of the scenes long after the movie is finished
It is about two low life friends everyone in the village hate and everyone thinks that they are losers, but the fate has great plans for them,
What is funny really is that they run into Historic figures like Kane and Able.

Go see the movie it is hilarious

Julie & Julia

Heart worming movie, about Julia Child, who wrote the first French cook book in English, and the challenges she faced in life.

in the other hand it talks about Julie Powell who made a blog to set a challenge for her self in life to cook all the recipes in Child’s book in just one year only to learn a lot about herself and her potentials, even though Child’s herself did not like the blog

pls goo see it, it is worth it

the Gamer

Ok, it is not a great movie, but it is not that bad either
You see, I like watching Gerard Butler do just about anything, and it was helpful to read about the movie first so you know what to expect.

First, it is a movie about virtual games, set in a time where convicts are used in games trying to escape their life sentence if they win.

Of course, there is some twist in the tale and some bloody fights, sex scenes, and a happy ending. However, you cannot shack that filling that it was a waste of time.

I think if you do not have anything today and you are feeling bored, go see it or just wait until it airs on TV (which I think very soon)

Ciao…

new year resolutions

Happy new year every one.
I spent the first day of the year in a marathon to see how many movies I can see in one day with as little interruptions as possible.
And the answer is, 6 movies (but I could’ve squeezed a seventh if I woke up before 12)
I started after my Friday prayers with the Gamer, Julie & Julia, Year one, Twilight, Surrogates, and lastly Management, (if you are following my posts, you know by now that I will comment about all the movies I see separately tomorrow)
See you soon
